The "Voice"

I was happy to see Danielle Bradbury won- was my pick.....based on the fact she is only 16 years old and God gifted with absolute pitch perfect voice..... as well,  I'm not a big country music fan, but she made me tune in and enjoy the country genre....starting to listen (expand my horizons) to country....so she changed my taste in music some..memorable.....just my two cents....and yes I still think Sasha Allen should have been #2. Enjoy

Lives Touched

While enjoying an early Father's Day Brunch with my family, my youngest daughter asked me a question..... she is always asking dozens of questions a day.. some silly and some well thought. Every now and again she gives me pause with her inquisitiveness.... She asked - What makes a person (meaning her) successful ??  Now, coming right off the heels of  "which glass of water to drink..the one on her right or left at a restaurant table"... I reminded her "eat left- drink right".... this new question gave me pause....very wide range and important....so after a bit of thought,  I told her that many people will have many different measures of success.... but my answer was...."In your life Tallulah (my nickname for her) you will meet and befriend thousands of people...some will be very close friends and some just acquaintances....but, a special amount will "touch" your life in a way that will be life changing... a dear friend you can lean on, a teacher that just brings out your best, an elder that loves and guides you..there is no telling who these people will be....these people will be the God-sent ones...BUT,  there is the other side....how many people's lives do you "touch"?.....lend a helping hand, listen without judging, giving of your time, money, talents, actually caring and loving deeply because God sent you to help!! Realizing I was beginning to lose her..I wrapped up...simply put - the more personal life touches you get and receive is what makes you a truly successful person!! Seeming to be satisfied with that answer....she asked what was my favorite color...Go figure :)... Clearly, my daughters and wife have "touched" my life for ever... Enjoy your Sunday

Happy Father's Day

Every year,  my daughters ask me what I want for Father's Day, and every year I tell them the same thing - I want nothing.  I explain to them that I have two beautiful and healthy daughters so for me every day is Father's Day.  Needless to say, that doesn't stop them from getting me a gift... Black socks or white T-shirts.  I have so many at this point that I don't even bother washing them after I wear them... Just throw them out and move on to the next :)
With all that being said, my staff and I would like to wish all the fathers out there a wonderful Father's Day weekend and enjoy your new set of obligatory black socks or white T-shirts.

Sasha Allen and The Voice...

Just some thoughts for you guys who watch the voice, I've grown fond of the show watching it with my daughters, was anybody as surprised as I was to see Sasha Allen voted off?... What an amazing performer... not to take anything away from the Swan Brothers but last night definitely took me by surprise. Chamuel and Bradberry were definitely tops but I was totally surprised America voted off Sasha Allen. Thats probably why I take care of teeth and don't sing. If you watch the show, who do you think is going to win? Comment below.

An interesting case...

At times, I will use my blog to demonstrate some interesting cases that I have treated at my office. This particular case involves a young lady with two rare tooth conditions (Dentinogenesis Imperfecta and Amelogenesis Imperfecta) -  Both conditions are genetic and occur during tooth development - causing her teeth to be discolored (dark) and the enamel to become very thin (appearing translucent).  With the use of modern cosmetic dentistry techniques, I was able to provide her with a new beautiful smile that she can be proud of. My first post...

Hello Everyone,

The purpose of this blog will be to share some random thoughts as well as some recent cases I have worked on in my office. The blog will be updated a few times a week so be sure to check-in and share your thoughts.
